As
a community arts worker Liz has worked on a variety of arts projects
in schools, colleges and with different types of community groups,
ranging from people with disabilities to ethnic minority women's projects.
She teaches photography and tape/slide and its application in a wide
variety of contexts, from slide projection for theatre and dance to
large scale outdoor screenings of tape/slide productions |

Workshops have
covered slide-making techniques, both handmade and photographic;
black & white photography and darkroom skills; animation and projection
techniques; sound recording and editing; slide editing and programming
of multi-projector slide shows synchronised to audio tracks using
Dataton Trax software.

Liz provides
slide and film projection as visual support for theatre, dance and
music performances, multimedia arts installations and other social
events such as clubs and benefit gigs. In addition she produces
tape/slide shows for conferences

Harnessing
her great enjoyment of photographing people, Liz also creates documentary
photographs for theatre, dance and community projects and events;
promotional images and CD covers for musicians; as well as informal
portraiture such as the fisheye prints
seen on this site.

Having recently
produced a body of work entitled ' Walled Garden'
for exhibition, Liz is interested in taking these abstract images
further, possibly into the field of textiles or fabric design.
